【ポイント１】「最も良い態度の上に乗ってる」とは？

"Behave yourself."は「お行儀良くしなさい。」ですが、今日のフレーズにある、"be on my best behavior"は、「お行儀良くしている」という意味のイディオムとして使われています。ロングマンには次のように説明されています。「お行儀よくしている」状態を表しています。
