「とても話が聞けるような状態じゃありません。」

"He's in no shape to talk to anyone."

【ポイント】"shape"を「形」という意味以外で使うことがある。

今日のフレーズにある"shape"は、次のような意味です。（ロングマンより）

状態が良い、悪いなど。あるいは健康的に良い、悪いなど

For an old car, it’s in pretty good shape.
古い車にしては、随分状態が良いですね。
