Scenario: 週刊誌の記者をしている。ある有名人とのインタビュー記事を書くために事務所に電話をして約束の時間に行ったのだが、当人がなかなか現れない。１時間経つのでどうしたのかと思い、受付でこう言った。

「約束時間から１時間たつんだけど。」

"My appointment was one hour ago."

【ポイント１】"appointment"、"reservation"、"booking"のどれを使うか？

日本語で「予約」という意味になる英単語は３通りあります。使い方の違いを見ます。（ロングマンを参照しています。）

"appointment"

an arrangement for a meeting at an agreed time and place, for a particular purpose
特定の目的のために、合意された時間と場所で会う段取りをすること

使い方

I’d like to make an appointment to see the doctor.
診察の予約をしたいのですが。

He has an appointment with a client at 10.30.
10:30に顧客との予約がある。

All consultations are by appointment only.
ご相談はすべて予約制です。

"reservation"

an arrangement which you make so that a place in a hotel, restaurant, plane etc is kept for you at a particular time in the future
ホテル、レストラン、飛行機などの場所を、将来の特定の時間に確保するために行う手配

使い方

I made a dinner reservation at 7.
ディナーは7時で予約したよ。

Customers are advised to make seat reservations in advance.
席の予約は前もって行っておくことをお勧めします。

"booking" 

an arrangement to travel by train, use a hotel room etc at a particular time in the future 
将来、特定の時間に列車で旅行したり、ホテルの部屋を利用したりする手配

I made a booking for two double rooms.
ダブルルームを2部屋予約した。

I’m calling to confirm my booking. 
予約の確認をしたいのですが。（確認のために電話している。）

If you cancel your booking, there will be a small charge.
予約をキャンセルする場合、少額の手数料がかかります。

Places on the class are limited and advance booking is essential.
その講座の定員には限りがあり、事前の予約が不可欠である。

block booking (=a booking for a large number of dates, seats, rooms etc)
団体用の続きの日にち、席、部屋などの予約（ブロックブッキング）

【ポイント２】「10時で予約したんですけど。」を英語で？

来たばかりで、受付に来たことw告げる場合は、現在形で、”My appointment is 10.”でいいのですが、"I'm 10."だけでも大丈夫です。

受付の人や秘書などが相手に確認する場合は、

"Are you 10?"
10時に予約の方ですか？

で通じます。

状況が決まっている場合の会話なので、最小限でいいです。

予約をしたのに待たされてるな、忘れてるのかな、と思ったら、

「10時に予約したんですけど。」と言いますね。

そんな時は、過去形で、今日のフレーズのように、

"My appointment was one hour ago."というといいです。

「１時間も待たされている」といった感じが出ます。

もちろん、"I've been waiting for one hour."でも、"One hour has passed since my appointment time."でもOK.
