ロングマンの定義と例を見て整理します。

"heal"

① if a wound or a broken bone heals or is healed, the flesh, skin, or bone grows back together and becomes healthy again
傷や骨折が治る。新しい皮膚ができたり、骨が元通りになって健康な状態に戻ること
例
It took three months for my arm to heal properly.
腕がきちんと治るのに３ヶ月かかった。

② to make someone who is ill become healthy again, especially by using natural powers or prayer 
特に自然や祈りの力を使い病気の人を元の健康な状態に戻すこと
例
a preacher who claims that he can heal the sick
病気の人を直すことができると言っている牧師

③ to become mentally or emotionally strong again after a bad experience, or to help someone to do this
辛い経験をした後、再べ精神的、あるいは情緒的に強くなること、また人がそうなる助けになること

"cure"

① a medicine or medical treatment that makes an illness go away
 病気を治す薬や医療のこと
例
There is still no cure for AIDS.
エイズにはまだ治療薬がない。

② to make an illness or medical condition go away
　病気やその状態をなくすること
例
Many types of cancer can now be cured.
多くの種類の癌は現在治すことができる。

③ to make someone well again after they have been ill 
病気だった人を元の元気な状態にすること
例
She had some acupuncture treatment which seems to have cured her.
彼女は何回か針治療をうけて良くなったようです。

90% of patients can be cured of the disease.
患者の90%はその病気から回復することができる。

まとめ
